How they met: Penn State University, She was his boss the the outback steakhouse!

What I remember most about Val and Jessie: Easy going, they love to have fun and they are very close to their parents and have great family values. It was another COLD December day but Jessie, Val and the entire bridal party braved the elements for some great photo moments! It was sooo windy….the wedding party was amazing to be out there! We had shot Susan’s Papson’s wedding she was one of Val’s the bridesmaids. So nice to work with people we have worked with before, such a nice comfort level for us and amazing trust on Jessie and Val’s part. Val and Jessie are now on their honeymoon in Rivera Maya! Have fun!

We just recently photographed the American Dance Academy - “The Spirit of the Season” Holiday Show dress rehearsal! The dance studio is located in Hockessin, DE, in the Lantana S We captured all the exciting action dance shots. So much fun to see the great costumes and the smiles on the little ones! Everyone worked so hard for this show, and all that hard work really paid off. We set up a slide show in the school lobby the day of the actual show for all the parents and cast to watch, it was a hit, everyone loved that we had them available to view so quickly! All the photos are online for the parents and cast to view and purchase. We had such a great time working with everyone at ADA! And a special thanks you to Darlene the studio owner and Kelly the office manager.

A beautiful wedding in December….. Last week, Ballroom at the Ben. Lots of details and great color! Bridesmaids dresses were red and they wore winter white soft fluffy wraps.

What I remember most about Mary Kaye and David’s day: Going to the Philadelphia Art Museum when it was so windy and snowing. Mary Kaye made a comment that she was so excited that it was snowing on her wedding day. Hearing that made it all worth it for everyone. And did I tell you she had ALL(20 people total) the bridal party gather on the steps for a night city shot shots in the 20+ degree weather and nobody complained! They actually all had fun! Mary Kaye is just a sweet, sincere and giving person, a pleasure to work with! And David a great guy who loves Mary Kaye soooo much. And a very special moment at the reception, Mary Kaye, a singer sang a beautiful song to David. It was an amazing moment with everyone captivated by Mary Kaye’s beautiful voice. It was a night to remember! A special thanks to the parents for letting us into your family, it was a wonderful experience for us!
David and Mary Kaye will be on their honeymoon in Hot and sunny Mexico.

As part of giving back to the community and to the proud soldiers serving in the military, mike(mk Photography) will be donating his services to a very lucky couple. This donation will include myself and an assistant photographer, all day wedding coverage, library bound proof book, all images in a HTML gallery on a CD, website hosting and a full size wedding book! I feel very strongly that I need to give something special back to a very select group of people who are standing by and fighting for our country, so we can live free in a democracy.
All you need to do is share your story, tell me how you met your fiance. We REALLY want to hear from you! We will be reading your emails and picking the most compelling life story. Jamie and Steven were married in May of 2006 and together with Jamie’s mom Mimi, they have been one of our biggest fans. We were thrilled to meet their precious and beautiful daughter Alyssa. She loved the camera! We had so much fun taking photos. Thank you for sharing your joy with us.
